How Much Does Intuo Cost?
Intuo pricing now means Unit4 Talent Management pricing, because Unit4 bought Intuo in 2019 and folded it into its HR suite. According to Unit4's own 2026 government price list, it costs at least £8,990 a year, then £12 to £60 per employee per year depending on company size.
In plain terms, that is about £7.50 per employee per month at 100 staff, £4 to £4.50 at 500 staff and under £3.60 at 1,000 staff. Learning costs extra, and so does setup.
There is no free plan, no free trial and no price on Unit4's website. You get a real number only through a sales quote.
If you have tried to price Intuo, you have probably hit the same wall I did.
Every site says something different.
I checked the pages that rank for "Intuo pricing". One says €250 a month. Another says €20,000 a year. A third just says "on demand". That is not a price range. That is three different guesses.
So I did it properly. I went past the review sites to the one place a software vendor has to publish real prices: government buying platforms. I found two of Unit4's official price lists, one from 2025 and one from 2026, and put them side by side.
That comparison turned up something none of the other pages mention. Unit4 changed how it prices this product in 2026, and depending on your size, you now pay up to 19% more or up to 44% less.
This page is all about money. If you want to know what the product does and whether it is any good, read my full Intuo review first.
Is Intuo Pricing Publicly Available?
Not on any Unit4 or Intuo website. The real prices are public, but only in Unit4's filings on the UK government's G-Cloud marketplace, where suppliers must list prices for public sector buyers.
Here is what I checked on 23 October 2026:
What I checked | What I found |
|---|---|
intuo.io | Sends you (302 redirect) to unit4.com/brand-heritage/intuo. No price, no trial, no Intuo login |
Unit4 Talent Management page | Two buttons: "Talk to our friendly team" and "See a demo". No price |
Unit4 contact page | A "Talk to Sales" link and a head office phone number. No pricing option |
Capterra | "Starting price €20,000", per feature, per year. No free trial |
FinancesOnline | Four plans from €250 a month. Page last changed May 2025, with no source given |
Appvizer | One plan called "standard", price "on demand" |
UK G-Cloud 14 (2025 rates) | Full Unit4 price list for Talent Management |
UK G-Cloud 15 (January 2026) | A new, updated price list with sliding prices by company size |
[Image: unit4-talent-management-no-price.webp. Screenshot the Unit4 Talent Management page showing the two buttons and no price.]
The directory numbers do not add up. FinancesOnline's cheapest plan (€250 a month for up to 100 users) is €3,000 a year. That is about a third of the £8,990 minimum fee in Unit4's own price list. Capterra's €20,000 is more than double it.
So my rule for this page is simple. I only use prices that come from Unit4's own documents. Everything else is labelled as a third-party claim.
Intuo Pricing Plans: Then and Now
Intuo itself no longer has separate pricing plans. There is one product, Unit4 Talent Management, sold in two packages. The old Intuo plans you may see on directory sites are not something you can buy today.
Before 2019, Intuo was a startup that sold directly and quoted each customer. I could not find a price list from Intuo itself, so I will not guess one. After the takeover, Unit4 rebranded the product, linked it to its ERP and HR suite, and moved it onto Unit4's standard licensing model: an annual subscription, priced per full-time equivalent (FTE) employee.
Here is what that model looks like today:
Talent Package | Learning Package | |
|---|---|---|
What it covers | Performance reviews and check-ins, 360-degree feedback, peer feedback, goal setting, engagement surveys, talent insights, succession planning | Training admin and online learning (Unit4 Learn) |
How it is priced | Per FTE employee, per year, on a sliding scale | Per FTE employee, per year, on its own sliding scale |
2026 list price | £60 falling to £12 per FTE | £38 falling to £2 per FTE |
Required? | Yes, this is the core product | No, an add-on |
Both packages include Unit4's standard support and maintenance. The price list sets one minimum fee for Talent Management: £8,990 a year.
One thing to know about "per FTE". Unit4 does not price per user who logs in. It prices per worker on your books, and its definition is wide: full-time, part-time, temporary staff, contractors and volunteers all count. More on why that matters in the hidden costs section.
Unit4 Talent Management Pricing: The 2026 Price List
The current price list is Unit4's G-Cloud 15 pricing document, dated 30 January 2026. Prices are in GBP, per FTE employee, per year, before VAT.
Company size (FTE, up to) | Talent Package | Learning Package |
|---|---|---|
100 | £60 | £38 |
250 | £53 | £28 |
500 | £44 | £21 |
750 | £35 | £14 |
1,000 | £27 | £11 |
2,000 | £20 | £8 |
5,000 | £15 | £6 |
10,000 | £13 | £4 |
25,000 and above | £12 | £2 to £5 |
I picked these rows from a longer table with more than 40 bands. The full list moves in small steps between them. The learning price for the very top band is listed as £5, higher than the band below it, which looks like a typo, so check it if you are that size.
Three other numbers from the same document matter:
Minimum fee: £8,990 a year for Talent Management.
Support: standard support and maintenance is included in the price.
Setup: not included. Unit4's 2026 rates for implementation are £220 an hour for a consultant or project manager, £253 for an architect and £165 for an associate consultant.
What Changed Since 2025
This is the part nobody else has covered. Unit4's earlier G-Cloud 14 price list (2025 rates) priced Talent Management very differently:
2025 price list (G-Cloud 14) | 2026 price list (G-Cloud 15) | |
|---|---|---|
Talent Package | Flat £48 per FTE per year | Sliding, £60 down to £12 |
Learning Package | Flat £22 per FTE per year | Sliding, £38 down to £2 |
Minimum fee | £8,990 | £8,990 (no change) |
Consultant rate | £200 an hour | £220 an hour (up 10%) |
Think of it like a gym that used to charge everyone the same monthly fee, and now charges single members more and big families less. The total income may be similar, but who pays changed.
What that means for you:
Under about 150 staff: no change. You hit the £8,990 minimum either way.
Around 250 staff: you now pay about 10% to 19% more.
Around 500 staff: roughly the same, between 8% less and 9% more.
Around 1,000 staff: you now pay about 10% to 44% less.
The range comes from one unclear word in the price list. Unit4 calls the bands "cumulative". That can mean your whole headcount is charged at the rate for your band, or that each slice of staff is charged at its own band's rate, like income tax. I show both readings, and a real quote should land between them.
My Cost Test: What Five Company Sizes Would Pay
A price table is hard to read in your head, so I ran both Unit4 price lists through a small calculator for five company sizes. These are yearly list prices in GBP, before VAT, setup and discounts.
Staff (FTE) | 2025 list, Talent | 2026 list, Talent | 2026 per employee per month | 2026 list, Talent plus Learning |
|---|---|---|---|---|
50 | £8,990 | £8,990 | £14.98 | £8,990 |
100 | £8,990 | £8,990 | £7.49 | £9,800 |
250 | £12,000 | £13,250 to £14,300 | £4.42 to £4.77 | £20,250 to £22,750 |
500 | £24,000 | £22,000 to £26,100 | £3.67 to £4.35 | £32,500 to £40,250 |
1,000 | £48,000 | £27,000 to £43,050 | £2.25 to £3.59 | £38,000 to £64,300 |
How I worked it out: for each size, I took the 2026 band rates and applied them both ways described above (whole headcount at one rate, and slice by slice). For 2025, I used the flat £48 and £22 rates. Wherever the total fell below £8,990, I used the minimum fee instead.
Two things stand out.
Small teams pay a lot per head. At 50 staff, the minimum fee works out to about £15 per employee per month. Unit4's own Capterra listing says the product is for companies with 100 or more employees, and the minimum fee shows it.
Learning is a big add-on for mid-size firms. At 250 staff, adding the Learning Package puts the bill up by more than half. If you already have a learning platform, leave it out of your quote.
What Affects the Total Cost?
The licence is only part of the bill. Here are the five things that move your total cost of ownership, in the order I would check them.
Number of Employees (and Who Counts)
This is the biggest lever, and the easiest one to get wrong. Unit4 counts FTE employees as permanent and temporary staff, full time and part time, including contractors and volunteers. Elsewhere in the same document, Unit4 says each type of worker is multiplied by an agreed percentage, so ask what percentage applies to your part-timers and volunteers.
A charity with 150 staff and 300 regular volunteers could be quoted as a 450 person organization. Agree the FTE count in writing before you compare quotes.
Required Features and Modules
Most buyers need only the Talent Package. Add the Learning Package only if you do not already have a learning management system. For a more advanced learning platform, Unit4 also sells Learn Plus by Docebo, which is not in the G-Cloud price list, so expect it to be quoted separately.
Implementation and Onboarding
Setup is charged on top. Unit4 lists 2026 rates of £220 an hour, or a fixed price per project. As a simple example, 10 consultant days at 8 hours a day comes to £17,600. That is more than the first year's licence for a 250 person company. Ask for a fixed-price implementation quote so the cost cannot grow.
Integrations and Support
If you already run Unit4 ERP or HR, the link to Talent Management is native, which cuts integration costs. If you use another HRIS, ask what the connection costs to build and maintain. Standard support is included. Unit4's upgraded Success4U Professional plan, with a named customer success manager, is listed at £18,000 a year for its ERP and FP&A products; ask whether a similar plan applies to Talent Management before you assume you need it.
Contract Terms and Renewal
The G-Cloud document prices everything per year. Ask how long the contract runs, what notice you need to cancel, and whether renewal prices are capped. Prices on this product have already changed shape once between 2025 and 2026, so a price cap at renewal is worth asking for.
Intuo Pricing vs Alternatives
At 250 staff or more, Unit4 Talent Management's list price is well below Lattice and 15Five, even after a generous currency conversion. At 50 staff, the minimum fee makes it the most expensive of the three.
I compared yearly list prices for the same headcount. To keep the test fair to the rivals, I converted Unit4's pounds at $1.40 per pound, a deliberately high rate, so if anything Unit4 looks more expensive here than it really is.
For a 50 person team, the gap runs the other way: about $12,600 for Unit4 against $7,800 for Lattice and $6,600 for 15Five.
Staff | Unit4 Talent Package | Lattice Foundations ($13 per seat per month) | 15Five Perform ($11 per user per month) |
|---|---|---|---|
100 | about $12,600 | $15,600 | $13,200 |
250 | $18,550 to $20,000 | $39,000 | $33,000 |
500 | $30,800 to $36,500 | $78,000 | $66,000 |
1,000 | $37,800 to $60,300 | $156,000 | $132,000 |
Rival prices are annual list prices from each vendor's pricing page as reported in October 2026. Lattice also has a $4,000 yearly minimum.
The test is also tilted against Unit4 in a second way. Its Talent Package already includes engagement surveys. Lattice charges $4 more per seat for those, and 15Five's plan that includes them is $16, not $11.
The other common alternatives do not publish prices, so I cannot add them to the table honestly:
Leapsome: quote-based, priced per module and per employee through a calculator.
Culture Amp: quote-based, annual billing only.
Betterworks and SAP SuccessFactors: quote-based, aimed at large enterprises.
If all you need is a cheap pulse survey, not a full talent management platform, a survey tool will cost far less. I priced ten of them in my guide to SurveyMonkey alternatives.
How to Get a Unit4 Talent Management Quote
There is no online checkout, so a quote is the only way to buy. Here is the route I would take, and the questions that stop a quote from drifting upwards.
Start from the product page. Go to Unit4's Talent Management page and pick "See a demo" or "Talk to our friendly team". If you are a UK public sector body, you can buy straight through G-Cloud at the listed prices instead.
Count your FTE before the call. Write down full-time, part-time, temporary staff, contractors and volunteers separately. This is the number your price is built on.
Bring the price list. Take the G-Cloud 15 table into the call. It is much harder to be quoted above list price when the list price is sitting on the table.
Ask these six questions:
Which band am I in, and is my whole headcount charged at that band's rate, or each slice at its own rate?
How do you count part-time staff, contractors and volunteers?
Is the Learning Package included, and can I leave it out?
What is the fixed price for implementation, data migration and training?
What does the renewal price look like in year two and year three, and can it be capped?
Is Ava Performance Insights (the AI feature) included at no extra cost?
Get it in writing. Ask for the quote to list the licence, setup and support as separate lines, so you can compare it with a Lattice or 15Five quote line by line.
I have not sat through a Unit4 sales call for this article, so I cannot tell you how flexible they are on discounts. What I can tell you is that you now know the list price, which most buyers do not.
Is Intuo Pricing Good Value in 2026?
For mid-size and large organizations, yes. For small teams, no.
The list price is fair once you pass about 250 staff, and very low per head at 1,000 or more. The catch is everything around it: no public price, no trial, a £8,990 floor, and setup charged by the hour.
My verdict by size:
Your size | Verdict |
|---|---|
Under 100 staff | Poor value. You pay the minimum fee, around £7.50 to £15 per head per month. Below about 80 staff, Lattice and 15Five usually cost less |
100 to 250 staff | Close call. Worth a quote if you already use Unit4, otherwise compare carefully |
250 to 1,000 staff | Good value on licence price, but note the 2026 increase around 250 staff. Get a fixed setup price |
1,000+ staff | Strong value. The 2026 price list cut costs most at this size |
Already on Unit4 ERP or HR | Get the quote first. Native integration saves setup money other vendors will charge you for |
Price is only half the decision. For features, user reviews, pros and cons, read my Intuo review, or if Unit4 is not the right fit, compare the best Intuo alternatives.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Intuo cost?
Intuo is now sold as Unit4 Talent Management. Unit4's 2026 price list starts at £8,990 a year, then charges £12 to £60 per FTE employee per year depending on size. That is about £7.50 per employee per month at 100 staff and under £3.60 at 1,000.
Does Intuo still have separate pricing?
No. There are no Intuo plans anymore. You buy Unit4 Talent Management, which has a Talent Package and an optional Learning Package.
Is Intuo now part of Unit4?
Yes. Unit4 acquired Intuo in March 2019, and intuo.io now redirects to a Unit4 page saying Intuo is part of Unit4 Talent Management.
Does Unit4 publish Talent Management prices?
Not on its website. Unit4 publishes its price list on the UK government's G-Cloud marketplace, where suppliers must show prices to public sector buyers.
Is Unit4 Talent Management priced per user?
It is priced per FTE employee, not per user who logs in. Contractors and volunteers count too, so check how your headcount is measured.
Is there a free trial or free plan?
No. I found no free trial or free plan, only a demo request and a sales contact.
Are there affordable alternatives to Intuo?
Yes. 15Five starts at $4 per user per month for engagement surveys and $11 for performance. Lattice starts at $10 per seat for performance or $13 with goals. Both publish their prices, but at 250+ staff Unit4's list price is usually lower.
